Use Characteristics A nitrosamine free super accelerator HiDispersion ZBEC-80 is a fast action thiocarbamate accelerator which has not been found to produce any harmful cancer-causing materials. HiDispersion ZBEC-80 can be used as a primary or secondary accelerator both in natural and synthetic rubbers, e.g. EPDM, IR, SBR, NBR, IIR. Compared with conventional dithiocarbamate accelerators, HiDispersion ZBEC-80 has a high level of processing safety. In compounds containing thiazole or sulphenamide accelerators, HiDispersion ZBEC-80 has an activating effect. Appropriate matching dosage of Zinc oxide and sulfur when using, the aliphatic acid (e.g. stearic acid) is not necessary. When same molar dosages of ZBEC-80 are used, vulcanizates containing HiDispersion ZBEC-80 demonstrate similar modulus to other dithiocarbamates.
Processing Advantages The thermoplastic, excellent compatible EPDM/EVA binder which is combined with active dispersing promoters allows much more easily and quickly incorporation and excellent dispersion in the rubber mixing. In this way, optimal activity of the effective ZBEC is assured.
Applications Suitable for technical rubber articles based on NR, EPDM, IR, SBR, NBR or IIR. Particularly suitable for light or brightly colored rubber articles.
